My Bridal Shower - Amazing People & So Much Love

Updated: May 11, 2021

On my journey to becoming a bride, I have experienced many memories along the way. This past Sunday, ladies from all areas of my life came together and showered me with SO MUCH LOVE! I am still in awe at the generosity and kindness each woman showed who came to support me.

The shower was thrown by my amazing sister, Emily, with the help of many other special ladies. While the day was full of things to love about it, I’m writing a few of my favorites below as a keepsake, and of course to share with all of you...

1. The Location and Decor

One beautiful part about the shower was its gorgeous location, The Charmant Hotel. Several years ago, I worked for The Charmant during its first year of business. I have loved the space ever since and always enjoy being back.

Emily and my mother, Karen, decorated the space with beautiful décor that was personal to me. If you know me, you know I love rose gold - which was found at every corner of the shower! Trust me, if I could convince Jordan to decorate his house like this, I totally would!!! The Serenada was decorated with beautiful arrangements from Bittersweet Flower Market, our proposal photos, and a cute throwback photo of me "playing bride" as a little girl.

On top of the beautiful décor, the lunch spread was definitely another cause for major heart-eyes. 😍 The Charmant had an excellent spread of various cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and finger-sandwiches for the guests.

My clever mother also set out "Jordan Almonds" as a play on words, and purchased custom cookies from my cousin's wife, Katie for dessert. I highly recommend contacting All About the Cookies for an adorable and tasty treat!

The Amazing People

Last, but certainly not least - this shower could not have been as successful as it was, if not for the fantastic group of ladies who attended. Seeing so many people who love and support me in one room gave me major chills and calmed any nerves I felt that morning.

I cannot say thank you enough to every one of these women for everything they have done for me thus far, and for attending this event. They all hold a special spot in my heart!

Thank you again to everyone who made this great bridal shower possible. Only 75 days until our big day - but who's counting, right?!
