Makeup By Sarah Koblitz started in 2015 through my authentic love for makeup and a passion for uplifting women. I began working with friends, then friends of friends, and slowly built a loyal clientele. Working with professional makeup and connecting with women came very naturally and I adored every minute!

When 2020 arrived, like many, I found myself questioning what I really wanted in life. The wedding industry experienced large shifts and professional makeup was in high demand. At the time, I was working full-time in a corporate job, while also doing makeup almost every weekend. I prayed for guidance and in 2021, took the scary leap to take my business full-time. I trusted God and told myself I would give it my all for six months and see how the journey panned out.

Those six months quickly turned into a year and I was blessed to open a studio location in 2022. In 2023, I opened a much larger studio and welcomed my first teammate to increase our impact. By 2024, we became a team of three artists and began operating under the name "Makeup By Sarah Koblitz Team," serving multiple clients and weddings simultaneously. We also moved to our current location inside Natty West Boutique in Onalaska, WI. Now as my personal life evolves, MBSK is refining—transitioning to a more intentional, La Crosse, WI–based approach for 2026.

Since our start in 2015, thousands of women have been served, not only through professional makeup artistry, but through encouragement and confidence-building. We've crafted an experience focused on YOU and continue to grow our offerings based on our clients' needs. We currently offer makeup applications, lessons, merchandise, and more.
