MBSK had the honor of participating in a styled photoshoot for WedPlan Magazine, along with many other talented La Crosse area vendors. Located at the rustic and charming Horstmann Homestead Farm in West Salem, Melody Rose Designs created the scene for a dreamy and romantic blue-themed faux wedding. With furniture from Resource Vintage Rental, invites from LK Bridal Studio, and a cake from Crumbtastic Cakery, these vendors didn't hold back in showcasing what they are capable of.
Taking into account the venue, the theme, and the stunning wedding dress from Brides N' Belles, Sarah created a soft and modern makeup look that enhanced the model, Trinity's, natural beauty perfectly. Using cool browns, she created a smokey eye with a bright inner corner highlight that caught the light. A soft contour on the cheeks made Trinity's cheekbones pop, while keeping the look subtle. The makeup was finished off with wispy lashes and a rosy lip, perfectly pairing drama and lightness. Metropolitan Salon & Spa created a loose and whimsical updo to bring the whole look together.
Once the scene was set and the models were ready, forHisglory Photography and Morrison Media captured every last detail of this beautiful final product that took so much work and creativity from each vendor. Seeing these local businesses come together really gave us an appreciation of the many people involved in creating the perfect wedding, and opened our eyes even more to how much talent we have in our area.
