How to Prep - Bridal Makeup Trial 💍

Updated: Apr 11

Get ready for your bridal trial! This is a fun and exciting experience on the way to "I do." Just don't overlook the planning it takes to make it successful. 💄

1. Scheduling --- Calendars fill fast, so get it scheduled ahead of time. We recommend scheduling it to occur within the final 30 days before the wedding. What's even better? Booking the "trifecta." Having your makeup trial, hair trial, and dress fitting all in one day gives you the full-picture.

2. Preparation --- Ensure your hair, lashes, teeth, and skin are how they'll be on the big day. Hair coloring, hair or lash extensions, spray tans, teeth whitening, facials, etc. should all be done before your trial.

3. Directions/Parking --- Do you know where you're going? MBSK brides are emailed specific directions on where to find our studio. Ensure you double check these!

4. Arrival --- Arrive to your appointment the exact time you booked it. This gives the appointment ahead of you their full time without feeling rushed. We also recommend arriving with a nice clean face. No makeup or residue of makeup, please!

5. What to wear/bring --- Wear the same color, as well as any jewelry (hair pieces, earrings, necklaces, etc.) that you'll be wearing on the big day. Bring an easily accessible photo of you in the outfit you'll be wearing, as well as an inspiration photo that you're interested in. For MBSK brides, we recommend bringing a photo from our work. That way, we can be 100% confident the photo is not edition and we know the products that were used.

6. Questions --- Don't be afraid to ask us what's on your mind! If there's anything left unclear before your appointment, we're all ears.
